PEWTER WEDDING SPOONS
Spoons have been used as bridal gifts and party gifts from the early times.  We see written sources from the 1500's that record spoons as wedding gifts.

The spoons are joined together with a chain.  A Middle Age crown heart on the chain symbolizes the joining together with hope that the love will be crowned with good fortune.

"AMOR VINCIT OMNIA" which means
"LOVE CONQUERS ALL" is inscribed on both the male and female spoon.
